Matt is a Senior Associate based in the Edinburgh office. He has specialised in employment law since qualification and has a particular interest in contentious employment law and matters with a multi-jurisdictional dimension.

He regularly appears in Employment Tribunals throughout the UK and has successfully defended employer clients at full hearing in several complex claims including those involving allegations of discrimination and whistleblowing. Matt also recognises the value of avoiding litigation where possible and he therefore works proactively with clients to achieve commercial and pragmatic solutions to their workforce and HR issues.

Outside of work, Matt is a lover of the great outdoors and can often be found at weekends out and about in his long-standing attempt to climb the Scottish Munros.
