Nick Case is a Partner in the Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Disputes team. Nick leads the Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Disputes team in Manchester. Nick is a qualified solicitor advocate and is noted in Legal 500 2025 and Chambers 2025.
Nick advises on all forms of dispute resolution procedure and dispute avoidance within the infrastructure and construction sector. He has experience of litigation, adjudication and a wide range of alternative dispute resolution processes, with particular expertise in substantial and complex claims, both in the UK and internationally.
Nick has acted at all levels of construction chain, from developers to subcontractors. He works with clients early in the life of a project to avoid formal disputes arising, including through mediation or structured negotiation.
Nick has experience of most major standard forms of contract including JCT, NEC and FIDIC, as well as a various bespoke contracts.
