Nivi is an Associate in the Employment Team in the London office. She advises on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. 

Nivi regularly acts for employers in their Employment Tribunal claims, defending complex cases, including sensitive in-employment claims. Nivi has experience in advising on and investigating as part of an external investigation team complex and multi-faceted workplace investigations relating to sensitive matters such as discrimination, bullying and harassment. Nivi also regularly supports our Corporate transactions team on employment matters in transactions. Nivi previously spent time on secondment with the legal team at the Wellcome Trust. 

Nivi works across a range of sectors, including in particular Tech and Media and Financial Services. 
Nivi is also regularly involved in CMS’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and supports pro bono clients in relation to employment law issues. She is also on the CMS Women internal network committee and is co-captain of the CMS Mixed Tag Rugby team.  

Relevant experience

  • Several household name clients, across a wide range of sectors, with their employee relations and HR issues.
  • On behalf of clients in relation to various employment law issues including discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal.
  • A client on the strategy for exiting a senior executive.
  • Part of an external investigation team to investigate a grievance at a Financial Services client.

  • 2022 – Admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • 2020 – LPC with MSc in Law, Business and Management, University of Law, Moorgate.
