Rhys is a senior associate in the Infrastructure, Construction and Energy (ICE) Disputes team, based in the London office. 

Rhys specialises in disputes in the construction and engineering sectors and has experience in all major forms of dispute resolution, including adjudication, mediation, litigation and arbitration. Rhys’s recent experience has included assisting in defending a multi-million-pound claim in the Technology and Construction Court relating to defects in the construction of an NHS hospital. 

Relevant experience

  • Lendlease Construction (Europe) Limited in relation to a claim commenced by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management Limited relating to defects at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital Cramlington. 
  • M&G RPF Limited Partnership (acting by its general partner, M&G RPF GP Limited) (“M&G”) in relation to fire safety defects.
  • S.L.E Limited in relation to a dispute concerning payment and the completeness of the Works.
