Susann is Of Counsel in the Financial Services team. She has over 18 years private practice experience, advising financial institutions and corporates on a range of non-contentious regulatory and commercial matters, including regulatory change projects such as Brexit and MiFID II, on authorisation, cross-border issues, client asset rules, financial promotions, product design/governance, commodities and financial services regulation of energy derivatives, outsourcing matters and insider dealing/market abuse.

Susann also spent 7 years working in-house as consultant for Euroclear, a Central Securities Depository, where she gained an in-depth knowledge of and advised on supervisory, regulatory and strategic matters affecting financial market infrastructure and other players in the market. 

Susann also advises clients on FinTech matters and the regulatory aspects of crypto assets and blockchain-based products.
