Zainab has a broad commercial litigation practice, with experience spanning multi-jurisdictional disputes, large group actions across various sectors including automotives and pharmaceuticals, complex contractual claims, reputation management matters and aviation related disputes.
Zainab has particular expertise in public international law. Zainab has advised sovereign States, their agencies and international organisations in multiple jurisdictions. During a secondment to an international development bank, Zainab gained valuable insight into the organisation’s internal legal framework, the jurisprudence of the administrative tribunals of other international organisations as well as customary international law.
Zainab is an editor of the UK Supreme Court Blog and she regularly contributes to legal publications and industry press on current issues. She regularly provides training for clients’ compliance and in-house legal teams.
