We invite you to join us at the CMS Pensions Coffee Corner.
Pensions Coffee Corner connects individuals with their peers, providing an opportunity to network with new people through a regular informal virtual coffee. It is a great way to meet new people and have interesting conversations.
Coffee Corner has been running since late 2020, the idea born out of a craving for valuable interactions during the Covid lockdowns. Since then, there have been over 1,200 coffees, allowing our members to meet new people from across the industry and from across the UK.
How it works:
Pensions Coffee Corner is aimed at non-partner/non-principal professionals working in the pensions industry.
We ask that you register in pairs – whether you are two individuals working at the same firm, or two friends at different companies – and that you’re happy to commit 30 minutes every 3 weeks to meeting fellow pensions professionals.
Every three weeks CMS will send you an email introducing you to another pair of individuals who have also signed up to the Pensions Coffee Corner. It is then over to you to arrange a time to chat over a virtual coffee by phone or video conference at any point during that three week period. We recommend that each ‘coffee’ lasts for 30 minutes, but that is entirely down to you.
