In this article, Rebecca Byczok and Reeve Boyd from CMS’ Finance Disputes team look at the impact of generative artificial intelligence (AI) on litigation. They explore at how generative AI could be used to assist litigators, for example through e-discovery, drafting or legal research, as well as how generative AI may also lead to increased litigation in areas such as fraud, privacy, IP and defamation.
