From the United States to Brazil and from Hungary to Russia, the world is turning inward. The shift from internationalism to nationalism has important consequences for our clients and practices, including in the energy sector. This means new risks for our clients but also new opportunities and work streams. This panel will delve into the consequences of operating in an increasingly nationalist world and discuss investment restructuring, documenting investor due diligence, political risk insurance, funding, and asset tracing.
