Advising the client on employment and tax aspects related to the embassy local staff. CMS managed to change the local practice regarding taxation of the employees employed in foreign embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, since the established practice was not in line with the local legal requirements. The mandate has included negotiations with the local tax authority after which this practice was changed.
