Decree-Law No. 9/2026 of 14 January was published, introducing the first amendment to Decree-Law No. 12/2024 of 10 January, which revised the Integrated System for Management and Performance Assessment in Public Administration (ISPAPA).
Given the relevance and scope of the amendments introduced by Decree-Law No. 12/2024, the Government considered it necessary to allow additional time for the review of the assessment systems adapted to ISPAPA
To this end, it extended the deadline for the review, maintaining the adapted assessment systems in force until their review for adaptation to Decree-Law No. 12/2024, which will take place by 30 June 2026, under penalty of expiry.
Decree-Law No. 9/2026 entered into force on the day following its publication.
