Munich – Afinum Achte Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, which is advised by Afinum Management GmbH, has acquired a majority shareholding in Tisso Naturprodukte GmbH, a specialist supplier of therapeutic food supplements. Afinum’s investment is aimed at strategically rounding out the portfolio of the current Afinum fund while also supporting the growth strategy being pursued by Tisso Naturprodukte GmbH.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Oliver Thurn advised Afinum Management GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction. Afinum has also previously relied on the expertise of CMS lawyers, most recently when investing in the SanderStrothmann Group.
