The CMS Employment team is delighted to invite you to join us for the next instalment in our “Lunchtime Learning” series - Dismissals 101.
In this series of four half an hour “bitesize” webinars, we will go back to basics on different aspects of the law relating to dismissals, covering the practical issues which arise when effecting dismissals for some of the ‘potentially fair’ reasons: redundancy, gross misconduct and capability (both ill-health and performance).
This series is primarily aimed at those in your organisation who would welcome a refresher on the law on dismissals or for those with limited experience in this area.
Part 3 - Thursday 22 July: Gross Misconduct
Ensuring that a robust process is followed from the point at which potential misconduct occurs, or is discovered, is key to defending allegations of procedural irregularities. In this webinar, Gavin Macgregor and Samantha Love consider the lifecycle of fairly dismissing an employee for gross misconduct from the initial fact finding investigations, to disciplinary hearings, and possible appeals.
You will find further information about each of the webinars below together with a link to register.
