Paul is a Senior Associate in the Manchester office of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP. Paul has over ten years of experience of advising clients in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution.  Paul acts for both Claimants and Defendants in a wide variety of commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, defamation claims, commercial fraud claims, professional negligence claims, shareholder and director disputes and technology and IT disputes. 

Prior to joining CMS, Paul worked for an international law firm for around ten years, before taking a role as a senior lecturer at a UK University, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as advising clients through civil disputes in respect of the University’s Legal Advice Centre. 

Paul is experienced in all forms of alternative dispute resolution and has a keen interest in legal technology and IT/Technology disputes, is a member of the Society for Computers and Law and has successfully completed the SCL Foundations of IT Law Programme.   Paul is also a strong supporter of CMS’ pro-bono activities.

  • A cross-border multi-million pound, multi-jurisdictional breach of contract claiim,
  • A client on a multi-million pound, multi-jurisdictional breach of contract claim.
  • A client on a multi-million pound warranty claim arising from the sale of its business.
  • A client in relation to a claim for a breach of an IT Services Agreement.
  • A client in response to a multi-million pound claim for alleged breaches of tax legislation;
  • A national retailer in relation to a dispute with its Landlord.
  • On a high profile commercial fraud claim on behalf of an international client;
