CMS’s popular Disputes 101 annual webinar series returned in Autumn 2025, taking place over 11 sessions throughout September, October, and November.

The Disputes 101 series covered the essentials on topics relevant to resolving disputes through litigation, arbitration and mediation, as well as recent legal developments. In addition to our usual line-up of topics, this year featured a new session on Corporate Crime.

These webinars were aimed at in-house lawyers and non-lawyers at all levels of experience, regardless of business or sector area, and were designed to provide a refresher on the basic principles underpinning dispute resolution processes.

Webinar sessions

  • 2 September - Introduction to Civil Litigation
  • 9 September - Introduction to Mediation and Settlement
  • 16 September - Emergency Measures and Injunctions Against Protestors
  • 23 September - Communicating in a Contentious Environment
  • 30 September - Evidence
