Stella is experienced in advising leading companies operating in the energy sector, as well as government entities on contractual and regulatory compliance questions and on renewable electricity project development, with a particular focus on Southeast Europe.

Her recent experience encompasses advising on corporate PPAs, M&A transactions reviewing transaction documents and advising on regulatory approvals, as well as on the development of energy infrastructure projects (including electricity and gas interconnection and renewable energy projects). She also has experience advising on energy-specific EU State aid and antitrust matters, including on the design of capacity mechanisms in line with the EU Electricity Regulation and the design of quarterly forward electricity products traded on organised power exchanges to remedy an antitrust violation.

Before joining CMS, Stella worked in an international law firm in Brussels, Belgium and top-tier law firms in Athens, Greece. She has also worked as a lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights. She is admitted to practice in New York and Greece.
