Yesterday, March 28th, the Energy Services Regulatory Entity (ERSE) placed the Regulatory Review of the Electricity Sector in public consultation until May 15th.
Thus, the following regulations are under public consultation:
- Regulation of Access to Networks and Interconnections
- Commercial Relations Regulation
- Tariff Regulation
- Network Operation Regulation
- Intelligent Network Services for the Distribution of Electricity Regulation
- Self-consumption Regulation
- Quality of Service Regulation and the respective Manual
ERSE also proposes the approval of the Regulation on Misappropriation of Energy, with an extension to the illicit appropriation of gas, including gases of renewable origin and low carbon content, and Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG).
Although the main objective is the regulatory review of the National Electricity System, contributions are also allowed in relation to regulations common to the electricity and natural gas sectors, namely the Quality of Service Regulation, the Commercial Relations Regulation and the Regulation on Misappropriation of Energy.
Contributions must be submitted to ERSE until May 15.
