Order no. 22/DGEG/2024, of August 5th, was published on the website of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), establishing the procedures and exemplary schemes for the design, inspection, survey and certification of Electric Vehicle Charging Station (ECVE) installations.
The Order was published under the terms of the Legal Framework for Electric Mobility and the Framework for Private Electrical Installations, which establish the need to develop technical models and procedures in order to harmonize the work of professionals and ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory standards and technical rules.
They are subject to the procedures defined in the Order:
- New ECVEs;
- Existing ECVEs that undergo changes to increase their power output;
- ECVEs which, on the date of entry into force of the Order, have applied for connection to the grid and which have not yet been inspected or surveyed, with 90 days to comply with these procedures.
The Order repeals the provisions approved by Order No. 24/2019 of May 28th, 2019.
Finally, please note that the Order enters into force on the day following its publication on the DGEG website.
