Order no. 6119/2025, of 30 May, was published today, approving the new Regulation for the Allocation of Compensations to Municipalities, provided for in Article 4.-B of Decree-Law no. 30-A/2022, of 18 April, as amended by Decree-Law no. 72/2022, of 19 October.
It should be noted that the Regulation previously approved through Order No. 15185-C/2024, of December 27, established a compensation payment period that only ran until December 31, 2024.
The newly published order aims to establish a new compensation payment period — from May 31, 2025, to December 31, 2026 — while keeping the remaining aspects of the regime.
The annual amount of support was set by Order no. 3495-C/2025, of 19 March, which approves the budget of the Environmental Fund for the year 2025, in the amount of €4,476,735.00.
