CMS advises sellers of sanotact Group on sale to Avista and Damier, and FLOTTE Beteiligungen on the reinvestment

Frankfurt am Main – The private equity firms Avista Healthcare Partners and Damier Group have signed an agreement to acquire the sanotact Group. In the course of the transaction, FLOTTE Beteiligungen GmbH will once again acquire a stake in the Group and support its further development. The transaction is currently still awaiting the necessary regulatory approval.

A CMS team led by Dr Hendrik Hirsch provided comprehensive legal advice to the sellers on the transaction. CMS also advised FLOTTE Beteiligungen GmbH on the reinvestment. When CMS advised on the acquisition of the sanotact Group in 2021, it also advised FLOTTE Beteiligungen GmbH in connection with the management buy-in and has since provided the company with ongoing advice on key issues relating to the investment.

The sanotact Group is a consumer health company specialising in developing, manufacturing and marketing vitamins, minerals and food supplements. In addition to its full-service CDMO business, the company has its own brand portfolio and distributes its products in around 80 international markets.
