Berlin – Arcadis, a leading global design & consultancy organization for natural and built assets, has acquired all shares in Giftge Consult GmbH, a leading consulting and engineering company for energy transition solutions in Germany. With this acquisition Arcadis will strengthen its position in the attractive and high growth energy transition sector complementing services within its global Resilience business area. Arcadis also benefits from the acquisition through additional competencies such as pipeline engineering, high voltage-direct current (HVDC) and hydrogen transmission, environmental permitting and digital surveying services. In the future, Arcadis will be able to offer more complex and diverse services in the areas of transmission grids and transport routes.
The parties involved have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.
A CMS team led by lead partner Dr. Igor Stenzel provided Arcadis with comprehensive legal advice on the transaction. The advice included legal due diligence and the negotiation of the transaction agreements.
