Winfried Bullinger is one of Germany’s leading copyright lawyers. He advises his clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including media law and know-how protection and also represents them in court where he is regularly involved in landmark cases. Winfried‘s clients include numerous large German and international technology and media companies as well as service providers.
Winfried joined CMS in 1998 and has been a partner since 2002. He is head of the copyright group of the firm’s IP team. Since 1998, he has been teaching copyright and media law at Berlin’s Humboldt University as well as at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg where he is also a honorary professor. Winfried has authored numerous academic publications and papers on copyright and media law and is the co-editor of the Praxiskommentar Urheberrecht (commentary on the German copyright law), published by C.H. Beck Verlag.
