Frankfurt/Main – Everfield Germany GmbH has acquired the Matrix POS business from IT service provider 42 GmbH via a subsidiary by way of asset transfer. Everfield is thus expanding its presence in the DACH region and focusing on long-term prospects in the hospitality industry.
A CMS team led by partners Dr Jessica Mohaupt-Schneider and Dr Florian Plagemann provided comprehensive legal advice to Everfield. This is the fourth transaction in Germany over a short period of time in which CMS has advised Everfield. In all four deals, modern legal tech tools that use artificial intelligence were used, which significantly increased the efficiency and speed of implementation – supported by the cross-departmental CMS in-house special unit Smart Operations.
Everfield buys, builds, and grows European vertical market and specialist software companies, providing them with the tools they need to move to the next level. Everfield operates a decentralised model, where companies maintain their teams, brand, and customer base post-acquisition.
Matrix POS offers customised IT solutions in the area of POS systems for companies from various industries, with a special focus on digitalisation, automation and modern technologies.
