Berlin – Solidus Solutions, a leading European provider for sustainable packaging for the food industry, has acquired Mölle GmbH, a producer of sustainable partitions and inserts for the packaging sector, with facilities in Germany and in Poland. Solidus Solutions acquired Mölle from Ernst & Cie. The acquisition was completed on August 5. With the acquisition, Solidus Solutions is making a strategic investment to integrate and broaden the product portfolio. Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Since 2019, Solidus Solutions is a portfolio company of private equity funds advised by Centerbridge Partners. Solidus Solutions operates from 15 locations across seven countries, using state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities to produce and convert a diverse range of solidboard, graphicboard and coreboard products.
