CMS advises Synergie on the acquisition of InterKadra

Berlin – International law firm CMS has advised French Group Synergie on its acquisition of Polish temporary employment agency InterKadra. Synergie Group is one of the top five global groups operating in the human resources management and development services market, with more than 580 branches spanning 16 countries. Established 16 years ago, InterKadra is the leading temporary work agency and HR consultancy in Poland, hiring approx. 14,000 people a year, with 16 branches across Poland. It also operates in France and Germany, supporting both large multinationals and SMEs and serving mainly Polish, German, French, Belgian and Norwegian clients.

As a result of this transaction, Synergie will gain a significant foothold on the Polish market and will bolster the scale of its operations on the largest European markets. Interkadra will gain additional development opportunities. CMS provided comprehensive legal and tax advisory services throughout the process.

The multijurisdictional CMS team was led by Błażej Zagórski and Gerd Leutner with the support of a transaction team managed by Magdalena Piszewska and comprising Magdalena Mentrak and Tomasz Piotrowski, who played a key role on the project.
