The deadline for UK alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs) to be authorised under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) is fast approaching, yet there is no consensus on how certain key requirements under AIFMD should apply to an investment trust structure and how best to demonstrate compliance. In these breakfast briefings, we discuss the road ahead to 22 July 2014, the challenges likely to be faced on the way and how best to navigate the road with minimal disruption to your business and sanity.
