CMS Luxembourg, acting as lead counsel for Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund S.A. SICAV-RAIF (“3SIIF”), is pleased to announce that 3SIIF has secured a USD300 million financing commitment from the United States International Development Finance Corporation (“DFC”). This strategic financial partnership will bolster 3SIIF’s ability to grow its market presence, expand its portfolio of assets and broaden its investment opportunities.

This new financing represents a pivotal milestone for 3SIIF and a turning point in its history. The capital infusion from DFC will serve as a catalyst for growth, allow for new investment projects, and reinforce 3SIIF’s commitment to invest in key infrastructure projects in the Three Seas region.

The core objective of 3SIIF is to invest in transport, energy and digital infrastructure as well as to bridge the development gap across regions of the European Union. The DFC financing will play a major role in supporting 3SIIF’s investment pipeline across the Three Seas member states.

The additional funding combined with the strategic partnership with DFC will also allow 3SIIF to invest in high-potential ventures, support sustainable growth and innovation across the Three Seas region, and continue to deliver on its promise of robust financial performance.
