CMS advises a.s.r. on the acquisition of insurance activities Bovemij
CMS advised a.s.r. on its acquisition of the insurance activities of Bovemij N.V., a leading specialist insurer for the Dutch mobility sector, and on the related strategic partnership with BOVAG. Under the transaction, a.s.r. acquires 100% of Bovemij’s insurance business (with gross written premiums of approximately 400 million euro), while a.s.r. and BOVAG establish a 50/50 joint venture for the distribution of insurance products under the Bovemij and ENRA brands. The agreed purchase price is 185 million euro, with completion expected in the second half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
