Student / Trainee in Commercial Practice (Ref: C-LAIE)

CMS Sofia Lawyers Partnership is presenting an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual for the position of a student / trainee. The person will be supporting Partners and Associates in our Sofia Commercial practice.

Requirements:

• Law student at a Bulgarian university, 3rd year or higher
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Diligent and attentive to details
• Good team player

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the LAIE team under the supervision of a senior colleague with various commercial law matters - assisting with the day-to-day legal needs of clients, drafting contracts and annexes, drafting memos and email advice, communicating with clients, assisting with filing and monitoring applications.
• Research on legislation and case law, assistance with translations, etc.
• Keeping abreast of current legislation, drafting legal updates.
• Working closely with more senior staff and colleagues.
