Frankfurt/Main, 06.12.2024 – The Cicor Group, based in Bronschhofen, Switzerland (SIX Swiss Exchange: CICN), has acquired PROFECTUS GmbH, a service provider for the development and manufacture of electronic assemblies, and is thus expanding in Germany. PROFECTUS' customers include medium-sized companies and larger corporations, primarily in the industrial electronics and medical technology sectors. Cicor intends to continue operating the site in Suhl unchanged. The transaction is subject to the usual regulatory and other closing conditions and is expected to be completed in early 2025.
A CMS team led by partner Dr Hendrik Hirsch provided comprehensive legal advice to Cicor on this transaction, successfully continuing CMS's support for Cicor in the consolidation of the market in the field of electronic manufacturing services. This is already the seventh Europe-wide transaction in which CMS has successfully represented Cicor.
