Berlin – VR meine Raiffeisenbank eG has acquired the long-established Malerwinkel hotel and restaurant on Lake Chiemsee. The buyer is based in the Bavarian town of Altötting and will continue the business. The shared objective of the previous owner and the purchaser is to preserve the hotel and restaurant business, which has been in operation for more than 50 years. This will ensure that the 1.2 hectare site on the banks of Lake Chiemsee remains accessible to people in the region and to future generations. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
