Covid-19 procedural deadlines for intellectual property law in Belgium

All proceedings on the merits were suspended until further notice (except for summary and urgent proceedings). All physical hearings were adjourned. All deadlines were suspended until further notice. New proceedings cannot be initiated. 

All deadlines before the IPO as of March 16, 2020 were suspended until the so-called “BAU-Date” (date on which normal work can be resumed) plus an additional 1 month. The BAU-Date will be determined by BOIP. No automatic extension of deadlines before the Patent Office.
