Covid-19 procedural deadlines for intellectual property law in Russia

From June 15, 2020 the Russian Intellectual Property Rights Court, the specialised commercial court in Russia, is working regularly. 

The following precautions shall be observed: 

1. The visitors shall use personal protective equipment (masks, gloves);
2. The number of representatives in a court room shall be limited;
3. If possible, it is recommended to hold hearings via videoconference. 

The Russian Patent Office still does not receive documents in person, all documentation shall be filed electronically or by mail or through the contactless receiving point. 

From May 25, 2020 the Chamber of Patent Disputes is working regularly. However, the following precautions shall be observed: 

1. The visitors shall use personal protective equipment (masks, gloves);
2. The number of representatives shall be limited (no more than two from each side);
3. If possible, it is recommended to hold hearings via videoconference.
