Through the years, Jaime has specialized as legal counsel for infrastructure projects such as highways, hospitals, light rail, airports, dams and oil infrastructure. Prior to joining CMS Woodhouse Lorente Ludlow, he worked as in-house counsel for some of Mexico's leading construction companies.

Has participated as an expert advisor in sophisticated economic claims before governmental authorities and private clients with repeated successes, has also accompanied clients in long and complex infrastructure projects and designed legal strategies to avoid economic losses during the life cycle of a project.

Relevant experience

Legal advisor to FONATUR for the follow-up of public works and procurement contracts for the Tren Maya, a 1,552-kilometer train in the Southeast of Mexico.

Served as legal contract manager of the consortium (Alstom Transport México / CPVM) who oversaw a contract for the Guadalajara light rail system "Line 3".

Advised the consortium that was awarded the contract for the construction of the terminal of the New Airport of Mexico City. Later forming part as senior counsel of the contract management team of the winning consortium.

Legal Manager of a Mexican construction company focused on oil and gas infrastructure (pipelines and gas burners).
