The proposal for the exceptional setting of electricity tariffs was published on April 17th.
Given the discrepancy between the energy prices recorded in MIBEL in the first quarter of 2024 and those forecast by ERSE for the same period, there is a need to update the costs of energy policy, sustainability and general economic interest (CIEG).
This proposal contributes to greater long-term tariff stability, minimizing the fluctuations that could arise from the adjustments currently observed in the CIEG in the 2025 and 2026 tariffs.
The exceptional setting of tariffs is expected to come into effect on June 1st, 2024, after the proposal has been submitted for the opinion of the Tariff Council and other entities.
