Expanding our team with a new expert

Dr Daniel Zemp has extensive experience in national and international litigation, specialising in disputes in the financial sector. His practice focuses on advising financial institutions, listed companies and medium-sized enterprises, as well as German insolvency administrators, on the judicial assertion and enforcement of claims. His legal expertise covers both Swiss and German law and he is admitted to practise in both Switzerland and Germany.

Prior to joining CMS Zurich, Dr Zemp honed his litigation skills as an attorney at several renowned commercial law firms in Zurich and Berlin. His doctoral thesis focused on civil procedure issues in Swiss and German law, for which he received awards such as the Prof Walther Hug Prize in 2018/2019 and the Joseph Vigener Prize in 2020.
