Munich – The listed Canadian company Calian Group Ltd., (Calian) has acquired SatService Gesellschaft für Kommunikationssysteme mbH (SatService), a leading company in the area of satellite communication. This is the first transaction for Calian in Europe.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Martin Kuhn and Senior Associate Dr Jessica Mohaupt has advised Calian on all legal aspects of the transaction.
Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Calian employs over 3,200 people with projects that span Canada, U.S. and international markets. The company's capabilities are diverse. Its business division "Systems Engineering Division" (SED) is a global supplier of communication systems solutions and products.
SatService, based in Steißlingen, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, offers innovative engineering solutions and products for the satellite communications market.
