CMS advises shareholders of Miebach Consulting on their sale to Investcorp

Cologne – The shareholders of Miebach Consulting Group ("Miebach") have sold a majority stake in the company to the international private equity investor Investcorp. Miebach, with its registered office in Frankfurt am Main, is a leading global provider of specialised consulting services for supply chains and logistics. Miebach's differentiated end-to-end service offering ranges from the development of supply chain strategies to the implementation of engineering designs, providing digital solutions and services for the customer's warehouse infrastructure. Miebach employs over 500 people and has 27 branches in 20 countries. The company offers its consulting services to various industries and international blue-chip clients around the world.

A CMS team led by partner Dr Malte Bruhns, together with an international team, played a leading role in providing the Miebach shareholders with comprehensive legal and tax advice on the transaction.

Investcorp is a leading global private equity and alternative investment manager with branches in Bahrain, London, New York, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Doha. Since 2012, Investcorp has invested around 2.1 billion euros in companies across Europe. The acquisition of Miebach is the Group's fifth investment in the last 15 months and strengthens the management position of the service provider.
