Frankfurt/Main – Friedrich Graepel AG, which is headquartered in the Lower Saxony town of Löningen, has acquired all the shares in SOLVARO GmbH and indirectly also those of its Hungarian subsidiary SOLVARO Kft Hungary from varomexx Beteiligungen GmbH.
An international CMS team from Germany and Hungary headed by Frankfurt-based partner Dr Oliver Wolfgramm and counsel Dr Matthias Löhle together with Budapest-based partner Martin Wodraschke advised Friedrich Graepel AG on all legal and tax aspects of the transaction and on the acquisition financing.
Friedrich Graepel AG specialises in bespoke components and innovative metal products. SOLVARO is a leading manufacturer of customer-specific perforated sheet components for agricultural machinery, trucks, IT servers and various other applications.
Friedrich Graepel AG now employs around 1,000 people and includes seven subsidiaries across Germany, Hungary, the US and India. The acquisition of SOLVARO further expands the market position of the family-owned business, which has a history going back more than 130 years. It also strengthens Friedrich Graepel AG’s presence in the perforated sheet market and broadens its associated product range, e.g. for use in filters and server cabinets.
