The CMS Employment team are delivering a webinar on Risk update: Employer liability for employee actions on 1 December 2016.

It may come as a surprise that an employer can be sued by a customer for the racist and offensive behaviour of an employee, which is clearly not sanctioned by the company. Two cases this year significantly extended the scope of employer liability where employees have committed wrongful or negligent actions. In this session Anthony Fincham looks at the practical and financial consequences for employers.
