| Footnotes and Notes | Two different licences categories may be issued by the Malta Gaming Authority: (a) Gaming Service Licence (a B2C licence to offer or carry out a gaming service); and (b) Critical Gaming Supply Licence (a B2B licence to provide or carry out a critical gaming supply). Licences are issued for a period of ten years and can be renewed on condition that a set of requirements are adhered to and that application for the renewal is made within a pre-established timeframe before the expiry of the licence. Any person (natural or legal) is eligible to hold a gaming licence provided that person is established in Malta or in the European Economic Area. | |
