As every year, there will be an Employment Snack Christmas Special with labour law updates at the turn of the year.
Our labour law experts Andrea Potz and Daniela Krömer, together with Christoph Wolf, will review the year 2025 so that you can start 2026 well prepared.
The focus will be on news from the legislature (e.g. further training time, new rules for freelance employees, protection against dismissal for reasons of motive, further harmonisation of notice periods) and from (supreme) courts. Looking ahead, the implementation of the Platform Work Directive by December 2026 and the Pay Transparency Directive by June 2026 are the next game changers on the horizon.
