Düsseldorf – The dormakaba Group, one of the world’s leading suppliers of secure access solutions, has divested its glass systems business (Interior Glass Solutions, IGS) to Italian investment group Aliante Equity Tre S.p.A. The deal covers the global IGS product portfolio, the Dorma-Glas GmbH manufacturing site in Bad Salzuflen, selected sales units in Europe and 235 employees. The transaction marks an important step for dormakaba, allowing the company to focus on its core activities while enabling the IGS business to develop its full potential outside the dormakaba Group. Further details of the deal were not disclosed.
A CMS team headed by Dr Marcel Hagemann and Katharina Mareike Franitza advised the dormakaba Group on all legal aspects of the transaction.
