Sonia is a Managing Associate in CMS Luxembourg Investment Funds practice. 

She specializes in setting up both regulated and unregulated investment funds, which involves drafting and reviewing fund documents and agreements, as well as liaising with clients, service providers, and notaries. Additionally, she provides legal advice to various entities such as management companies, depositaries, administrators, and investment funds to address a diverse range of legal issues. Sonia is also experienced in liaising with the CSSF to obtain approvals or address regulatory questions. 

Before joining CMS, she has gained experience at another Luxembourg based international law firm as well as in the in-house legal team of an AIFM and of a large provider of asset management services, focusing on asset administration and AIFMD depositary.

Sonia is a qualified lawyer admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (Avocat au Barreau du Luxembourg - Liste II) since 2021.
