Rheinny is a qualified lawyer in Western Australia and England & Wales with 20 years’ experience in the areas of projects, banking & finance, corporate and commercial, with a focus on Asia Pacific. She also has experience in the Middle East.

Rheinny has advised and assisted clients on project development, banking and finance, as well as general corporate and commercial work. Her clients include investment holding companies, private banks, and government entities.

Rheinny is a member of our Indonesian initiative, having worked on Indonesian matters and projects.

  • Green ammonia development in the Middle East – acting for a client in the development, supply and sale of green ammonia product powered by a renewable energy plant.
  • Share Sale Acquisition – acting for the purchaser on a potential bid to acquire shares of a target company with upstream oil and gas assets in Thailand.
  • Share Sale Acquisition of a target company with renewables (solar and wind) assets in the Philippines.
  • Sale and Purchase of an FPSO – worked on the sale and purchase of an FPSO (US$75,000,000) in the Philippines.
  • Share Sale Acquisition of a target company with participating interest in an oil and gas block in Indonesia.
  • Sale and Procurement of maritime surveillance, intelligence and navigation safety system from a British listed company to a maritime security agency in Indonesia.
  • Law reform – worked on the reformation of laws and regulations to a UAE government free zone, and the Attorney General of the Republic of the Maldives on a infrastructure development project.
  • Build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects – acted for sponsors on their investment, construction, operation and financing of two coal-fired power plants in Vietnam (1,200 MW and 1,980MW respectively) on a build-operate-transfer BOT basis.
  • A French utilities and resources company based in UAE on an independent desal water project (450,000m3) bid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a long-term agreement for industrial waste to energy facility with a UAE government body, and a share sale purchase agreement with an investment company incorporated in the UAE.
  • Hydroelectric plant – advised sponsors in the BOT of a run-of-the-river hydroelectric plant (1 x 47MW) in West Java, Indonesia.
