Jeroen Boelens is partner binnen de praktijkgroep Intellectual Property van ons kantoor in Amsterdam.

Hij is gespecialiseerd in alle facetten van het intellectuele eigendomsrecht, met bijzondere expertise op het gebied van octrooirecht, merkenrecht, handelsnaamrecht, oneerlijke mededinging (waaronder misleidende reclame) en licentiëring. Jeroen adviseert en procedeert in complexe, vaak grensoverschrijdende geschillen en begeleidt cliënten bij strategische advisering en transacties, waaronder licentie- en R&D-overeenkomsten. Zijn cliëntenbestand varieert van internationale blue-chip ondernemingen tot innovatieve scale-ups en spin-offs, actief in sectoren als life sciences, technologie, consumentengoederen, financiële dienstverlening en de farmaceutische industrie.

Naast zijn praktijk is Jeroen een publicist en spreker op het gebied van intellectuele eigendom. Hij is lid van diverse toonaangevende (inter)nationale vakverenigingen, waaronder AIPPI, EPLAW, INTA en LES. Daarnaast is hij redactielid van het tijdschrift European Patent Litigation in Practice en mede-auteur van het gezaghebbende handboek ‘Kort Begrip van het Intellectuele Eigendomsrecht’.

Jeroen is sinds 2025 verbonden aan CMS. Daarvoor was hij partner bij NautaDutilh in New York en Amsterdam, alwaar hij leiding gaf aan de Nederlandse IP-praktijk.
