Sophie Marquet and Robin Svara, together with our Employment Law team, advise and represent Monaco-based employers – both companies and private individuals – across advisory and contentious matters. We work alongside clients to design and implement effective, forward-looking workforce strategies, whether in corporate, private or yachting environments.

We advise on all aspects of individual employment relationships, from assessing dismissal and settlement options to drafting tailored employment contracts and structuring complex remuneration packages. We also handle non-competition and non-solicitation issues, as well as the full range of related documentation.

We also advise on collective employment matters, supporting employers in managing relationships with employee representatives and trade unions, negotiating collective agreements and facilitating effective social dialogue.

We regularly assist businesses establishing or expanding in Monaco with all employment-related aspects, including social security compliance, recruitment and employee transfers. We also advise companies and institutions already operating in Monaco with workforce reorganisations and restructurings, particularly in connection with mergers, acquisitions and disposals, including employee transfers and collective or individual redundancies, with or without voluntary departure schemes. We guide clients at every stage, from strategy through to implementation, ensuring effective risk management and representing their interests in any resulting collective disputes.

Finally, we advise and represent clients in high-risk and sensitive matters, including workplace grievances, discrimination and harassment claims, as well as related criminal proceedings, with a strong focus on protecting the employer’s reputation.
