embarked upon extensive collaboration on development, projects and distribution. This makes the
Faulhaber group the largest single shareholder of PiezoMotor Uppsala AB. The companies in the
Faulhaber group specialise in the development and production of high-grade standard products,
modifications and complex customised complete solutions for micro drives, precision and microsystem
technology. The Faulhaber group includes companies in Germany, USA, Switzerland, Singapore, Hungary
and Romania. The stake in the Swedish company PiezoMotor Uppsala AB is held by Faulhaber sister
company MicroMo Electronic Inc., Clearwater, USA, and Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH & Co. KG,
Schönaich, Germany.
PiezoMotor Uppsala AB was established in 1997 and develops, manufactures and markets micromotors
of different types. The company has an extensive patent portfolio and has developed several
technology platforms. It produces and supplies motion solutions to leading multinational companies
in the fields of consumer electronics, medical technology, factory automation, positioning
equipment, etc. Over the past few years PiezoMotor Uppsala AB has successfully concluded a number
of rounds of financing. In the Faulhaber group the company has now also found a strategic
partner.
