Molkerei Bauer, a leading producer of fruit-flavoured yogurt, has assumed the majority
shareholding in the northern German unlisted dairy company Heideblume Molkerei. Heideblume
Molkerei, together with its subsidiaries, specialises in producing milk and gourmet products. This
takeover will strengthen the established Bavarian company by providing access to further raw
materials markets and production facilities. The takeover was conducted by means of an
off-the-floor takeover bid.
Led by Dr Armin Dürrschmidt and Richard Mitterhuber, CMS Hasche Sigle advised Molkerei Bauer on
the takeover. The company has been a client of CMS Hasche Sigle for many years. Our Munich office
was active in previous M&A projects for the company and advises comprehensively on all
corporate law issues.
