  • Liander and Eteck: We advised on property law issues surrounding the renewable energy production facilities of of the project. CMS drafted and executed all relevant deeds (rights of superficies for the installations for Liander and Eteck). Liander is a Dutch utility company which operates in the distribution of electricity and natural gas. Eteck is a company specialising in  Aquifer thermal energy storage (ATES) systems.
  • A global leader in renewable energy investments (confidential)| Advised on the acquisition of an 80% interest in three ready-to-build BESS (battery energy storage system) projects and a right to acquire other standalone battery energy storage projects from a Dutch seller. The client operates in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
  • Investment manager (confidential): Advised an investment manager specialising in sustainable energy infrastructure investments, in relation to the envisaged divestment of a fund, including inter alia a portfolio of Dutch solar PV assets, and a BESS (battery energy storage system).
